In this segment of Time with a Creative Mind, Andrew Krivak reads from his memoir, A Long Retreat: In Search of a Religious Life, and discusses his creative process with Richard E. Miller. Mr. Krivak is also the author of a novel, The Sojourn, which was nominated for the National Book Award in 2011 and won the first ever Chautauqua Prize, which is awarded to “a book that provides a richly rewarding reading experience and honors the author for a significant contribution to the literary arts.”
Mr. Krivak is also the author of two books of poetry, as well as being the editor of The Letters of William Carlos Williams to Edgar Irving Williams, 1902-1912, which won of the 2009 Louis Martz Prize, for the best work published on Williams during that year.
